First build, ~$1000-1200 price range.

So i've been looking into getting a PC for awhile, I will be getting a job here soon, (14 btw O.o)
and I am wanting to save up about $1200 to buy a new PC for editing and gaming.
Here is the list that i have created already, (keep in mind I am trying to keep a Pure White theme)

But yeah, that is pretty much it! Feel free to make any edits to the pcpartpicker, or anything to improve!

Thanks for you time :)

Ah, so if i go for the all white build and get 4 NZXT HUE+'s, the light will be so blinding that it will be 40% faster? maybe more?

But what about the other components, dont they need to be RGB to be faster? or just have the effect of the RGB

Made a few changes.

PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nwQ7NN
Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nwQ7NN/by_merchant/

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor  ($197.88 @ OutletPC) Stepped it down to a 1600 to make room for an SSD. If you want you can spend the extra and get the 1700, but if you are just editing at 1080p, this will be more than enough, even at 4K it will do good.
Motherboard: MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK ARCTIC ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($109.18 @ Amazon)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  ($139.99 @ Amazon) White RAM.
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($104.64 @ OutletPC) Added an SSD to install OS, programs and your favorite games on. You can also keep video projects on this.
Storage: Hitachi - Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Video Card  ($439.99 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT - S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($69.99 @ Amazon) Went with the original S340 because of budget. You can spend the extra and get the elite if you want.
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($79.89 @ OutletPC) Much better PSU.
Total: $1201.55
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

You need a SSD in a build of that calibre. Power supply could be better too.

You can't be serious about having a different color will make your computer go faster.

In fact, choosing a specific color scheme doesn't make any difference at all when it comes to computer performance.

Here's my recommended computer build irrespective of color with the exception of the computer case.

Going with a specific color theme does not make any difference in computing performance or power.

Oftentimes, staying with one specific color theme can potentially give you an inferior computer build, because you are sacrificing better computer components over a specific color of those computer components.

Are you sure about this?

Here's what I came up with using a GTX 1070 8 GB graphics card.

That's only a savings of $40 and you're making a stink of this?

The Radeon RX 570 8 GB graphics card is still better than the GTX 1070.

are

you

baked?

the 1060 is comparable to the 570 and 580, and the 1070 is in a totally different performance bracket.

this compares fury x vs 1070 vs 480/1060 and 470.

On what basis? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If it was better, why was its target market price half of the GTX 1070's?
