Losing weight is not impossible and yes the pain from working out sucks. But it is well worth it. I have been working out/exercising for about 3-4 months now and I was(and still am) sore allthe time but I can tell I am bulking up. It is week worth it. As to losing weight you could work out and jog everyday for months and u would not lose weight....if you where eating junk food. If you want to lose weight try to avoid anything with well anything that is not completely raw or organic. No gluten. No genetically modified food what so ever. Only eat meat on occasion. No food with Mono sodium glutemate. Pretty much any thing that isnt organic. I do this diet and work out every day and I ( I am rather skinny so I dont need to lose weight) actually have put on some bulk. It is rather hard to do this but the rewards are very much worth it.

So losing weight is possible. Especially at your age.

I gained weight when I lost fat and put on muscle. I used to be super chubby.
Same I gained weight but lost fat.

meh just eat the rite stuff and do exercise once a week nothing wrong with it it should be sufficient

dont eat meat every day try go veggy at some days

and instead of taking the car to the mall (only possible if u live close by) take the bicycle or walk

daily stuff like that will keep your body fit to

but trying to lose weight is impossible

if you keep telling your self that then yes it will always be impossible

and some people just have a slow burning processes but u would need to go to ur doctor to check that out

No one in particular is going to be able to force you to do it. You have to have the drive to want to do it and it will eventually just turn into habit. Everyone is different though, you have to find a way of enjoying working out. That being said, working out doesn't have to be the same for everyone. Not everyone is meant to spend time in the gym or doing traditional sports.

First thing to take care of though is diet.

If you want to get tips and tricks you might consider joining a forum devoted to working out. Lol, find an excercize you enjoy and do it twice a week...Switch it up and change it up and make it interesting, set mini goals, think of the outcome and the feeling you have after the activity...The thing is most people dont get results right away so they quit...once you get going and small results come, then it comes faster and when you get to the end result you wont even know it, youll just see great results...You have to stick with it thats the problem, words are good but at the end of the day its up to you to see the will power and to see it through.

my confidence was up but it went down after i weighed myself and it didn't change at all
You are the only one that can make your confidence go up. Dont blame other people for your position in life. Just shutup and fix it.

I go to gym with a mate, which is handy and we help push each other to go more and go harder. so if you've the option get a friend interested, or even start chatting to other people at the gym, aside from a small percentage, most gym people are very helpful and are willing to spot for you, discuss techniques and offer advice on how to optimise your exercises.

remember we were all weak/fat/skinny once apon a time.

And weights a fickle thing, if you're doing gym and really pushing yourself, I'd partly recommend ignoring any apparent weight loss, as you might be burning fat and building muscle, which IMO is much better than just losing the fat. maybe invest in those scales that measure fat percentage in your body and work on that? not sure how accurate they are or if they're gimmicky never used one, but that's my advice, keep going to the gym and pushing yourself, Remember. None of us are as strong as all of us.

You should go to college. I lost 15 pounds from all the stress last semester. Ate all I wanted daily too.

But really having someone to do things with makes going outside a lot more fun. I personally like riding my scooter around campus. The sidewalks suck but there are some nice smooth parking lots around.

The real truth about working out, DO NOT START IT UNLESS YOU INTEND TO STICK WITH IT. I weighed 265 pounds 4 years ago, I have always been a chubby fat person since high school, which has been since back in 1996 lol, from time to time over the years I have tried to devote myself to stay with it, that only lasted a couple of months at a time. 4 years ago I started to not be able to breath right when I slept and I started doing the hole roly poly thing when I would try to get up of the floor or out of bed. Then one day I got really tired of it and just said screw it, I'm going to workout and stick with it this time. 4 years latter I now weigh 175, I have 19 inch arms and rock hard abs, I feel great every day and there is no way I would go back to ever being fat again.Just eat the right foods and workout your hardest and your dreams will come true.

the only person you are competing with is yourself and noone else int he gym, as long as you have a routine it becomes part of your lifestyle. I love going to the gym before work. Gives me a sense of achievemnt.

Working out and exercising are the same thing. If you're trying to lose weight, I suggest doing cardio and creating yourself a calorie deficit. A calorie deficit takes places when you burn more calories than you consume. There's 3500 calories in a pound of fat. Try cutting 500 calories a day. If you do this for a week straight, you will lose 1lb.

The only thing that will truly give you an accurate reading are fat calipers. And the fat must be measured on specific parts of the body.
