look at the power requirement for the vega then, if you can't then look at a picture of the vega where the connectors are connected and calculate it on your own.

Leaks say it's 400W so he can't use a 430W PSU

EDIT: i'm a dumbass who doesn't read, you should be okay. But this is really a question for our forums PSU guy @STRMfrmXMN.

How is he ok? He wants to use a 430W PSU with a card that has a 400W TDP. So unless a R5 1600 is magically a 30W CPU he's not fine.

The 300W is just because of the 2 8pins. If the card draws any power through the PCI-E slot it's more than 300W. And your CPU is 95W. You are cutting it way to close if it does work.

I wouldn't use the 430W EVGA PSU in a build with anything over a 1050 TI in terms of heat output. That PSU isn't very good and most certainly should not be paired with a GPU that will have dual 8-pins on it.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
