Posted July 30, 2017 Hi guys. I'm currently thinking about upgrading my 950. It's a single fan and clocked at around a little bit more than 1000mhz. The 1050 TI FTW has 4GB of VRAM opposed to the 3 on the 1060, but I know the 1060 has a somewhat higher clock speed. Just wanting to know what'll get me the best bang for my buck and again, I'm trying to save money and that extra $40 could go towards a new PSU. Thanks for any advice. Posted July 30, 2017 they will both run 1080p resolution fairly well i have a 6gb gtx 1060 in my laptop and it is amazing most games it sits about 60fps have seen it drop a few times. but its not a huge noticeable drop. when i was shopping for my laptop my choices were 1050ti and 1060 and im glad i went with the 1060 if i remember right the 1060 is roughly 35% faster than the 1050ti Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted July 30, 2017 What about a used 980 or 980Ti? You can get a 980 for about $150 to $200 or a 980Ti for $275 give or take. I know it's more money but it's an option to think about.
