I have a habit of disliking things.

Like the dragonscale helmet in Skyrim.

So I made a new one.

I've been modding since 2015, and while 2 years doesn't really seem like that long to be modding, I've learned a lot.

Those of you that know me here know me for my strong opinions and extremely vulgar language.

I like the LTT forums because they put up with it - but NexusMods doesn't.

I have so many accounts on there I can only remember a few. The only one still actively hosting any of my mods is ZurinArctus85 - been banned but the moderators didn't delete anything. I had one for Fallout 4 as well, I made quite a few gun mods but the Nazis over there deleted them.

I also have an account on LoversLab and am starting to upload my future mods there. Username there is RussianPrince.

I have a lot that I've never uploaded simply because NexusMods is a fucking Nazi camp.

If this is popular enough I might showcase things here if that's not against the forum rules.

I haven't played skyrim for a while; I couldn't figure out modding for the longest time and got bored of the game as I had played it on xbox 360.

I think that's really cool that you're making mods and all!

Are you using blender to make these models? And potentially animations since you made some guns.

who uses dragon scale anyway. daedric baby, or a full set of deathbrand

and I used to play skyrim religiously and read lore on it daily. now not so much. the weak combat system has really taken away from the game now that I have seen better combat in like dark souls.  even mods cant fix the combat due to the engine's limitations.

I mean in Dark Souls, combat is a far larger 'aspect' of the total experience, in Skyrim it is one of many. Not that it's insignificant, just not as much as the level of Dark Souls. The perfect balance can be found in Witcher 3 combat I think.

im just saying the combat system of DS is superior so when when i play skyrim just click click click click  to kill people. not as fun. id say combat is a big part of the game, in almost every mission you kill someone or something.

im not saying its not fun the game its self if fun and really immersive witch i like.

I know haha, just saying in Dark Souls it's more about combat, in skyrim it's important too but skyrim has other things too Like alchemy, blacksmithing etc and the better lore etc.

Well in Minecraft combat is equally as important as in Skyrim I would say, you need it to move forward in the game, graphics don't say much.

Still, you can mod.

you can play minecraft with no combat if you want. you cant in skyrim. in skyrim combat is way more important than in minecraft.

skyrim is an open world RPG, and the role you play is the dragonborn, a warrior with dragon blood that has to stop the dragons coming back.

minecraft is a open world building game. you play as a person in a cube world whose purpose is to live as long as possible, (or in peaceful to just build and not die)

Disagree, I think you can't avoid combat in Minecraft if you want to move forward. If we're talking survival mode you need to defend against creepers, zombies and skeletons. For the harder to get materials later on you will need to kill End monsters and whatnot and Ultimately the Ender dragon. Sure you CAN run away constantly but that's semantics.

Creative mode granted, but that's not the default gamemode.

I modded the absolute crap out of Skyrim, and then I did that to Skyrim SE with a surprising level of success.

Here are my Skyrim SE screenshots-

well you never really move forward in minecraft, all weapons and armor can be made without needing to kill an eminem's. you dont need to kill anything to move forward yes you can "win" by beating the ender dragon but after that you're still just playing like before, so if you don't kill the ender dragon the game is exactly the same you cant even hatch the egg without mods. in peaceful mode no enemies spawn and the game is still playable you can still craft, mine, build do whatever you want with no enemies but still in survival mode.

you can get XP from farming, mining or smelting in the furnace, you don't need to kill to get XP to enchant, there is more than one way to do stuff in minecraft, trading with villagers can get you items only obtained from killing mobs or you can use mods that will let you craft wool into string and let you craft gunpowder etc..

and if you play on servers you can use shops to buy everything, trade with players and you can just farm or mine sell that and buy what you need or want. no need for combat.

as for skyrim id say its impossible to play it without killing, you need to kill plenty of people/dragons to proceed in the main story line

On Peaceful I consider that too easy, to be honest and is not what I meant. You still need to kill some things if you want certain materials, items or blocks so I don't find it avoidable. I mean yeah you can just use standard materials but eventually it gets boring.

Let's agree to disagree anyway.

Also you spelled 'enemy' as 'eminem' :P

I eliminated CTDs on Oldrim by cleaning up my plugins and manually sorting my load order, as well as the optimization stuff like ENBoost and a bunch of bug fixes.

Oldrim has way more mods, much better ENBs, and is less performance-intensive. You have access to more system resources with SE, but Oldrim often looks much nicer due to the ENBs being so much more advanced. Skyrim SE Mods and ENBs are basically Fallout 4 Mods and ENBs.

I don't care 1 bit though as I don't use ENBs And don't intend to. I also have cleaned up and did have a good load order but at certain places would still CTD unexplainably. In my eyes SE is far superior and gives less worry, less time spent problem-solving.

So you care very little about the game's visuals? I mean, ICBINE is cool, but ENBs as a category have the greatest visual impact on the game, and there are ENBs for every performance level (Stakado Cinemascope ENB is awesome and doesn't cost you any performance unless you're running Sandy Bridge iGPUs or something.

I do, but ENB's are not something I got into, nor do I intend to. To claim that one doesn't care at about the visuals purely because they don't use ENB's is pretty ignorant to be honest. I was and am perfectly content with mods alone, textures, ELFX etc etc do the job for me.

Here are some samples of my armors (copypasta from LoversLab)

Disclaimer: I have Asperger's and this thread may be difficult to read because of my stupidly annoying disorganized thoughts. Sorry.

I make custom armors to fit my characters. I use primarily vanilla assets and throw things together to make sick shit. Here I am posting screenshots of my current armors, where to get them, and I'll add a poll to see if you guys want me to (finish) the ones I haven't already uploaded somewhere, as well as ETAs for uploading existing ones to LoversLab.

I've been banned from the Nexus probably 15 times by now. My popular user names over there are ZurinArctus85, KitchenCrusader, microwaveburrito77, and AjaxHandSoap. They've all been banned. Fortunately LoversLab is a wonderfully tolerant community (seriously, I can't thank you enough for being so patient and tolerant). So I've decided to upload my shit here.

First armor: Lord Tristrum's Armor
Background: My buddy has a D&D Orc Paladin and when he started Skyrim he hated the vanilla armors (rightfully so). I made him this in about 5 hours.
Supported genders/races: Male for arms, legs, and body, human male for headgear, mask is explicitly non-beast, hood and mask intended for Orc
Completion status: 40%
Bundled Weapons: Sword and bow
Availability: Not uploaded yet

Second armor: Black Fox Armor
Background: My Argonian OC, Rallus Far-Seer, needed some sick kicks. The merchant boots from vanilla looked pretty good in black, so I decided to go all the way. This is a modular light armor with about 17 individual pieces to choose from, including 3 different gauntlet types, 3 cuirass types, 5 hood styles, and 5 boot styles to choose from.
Supported genders/races: All
Completion status: Finished
Bundled Weapons: Shield
Availability: Nexus link, will upload here in a little bit

Background: My Khajiit character Zojarr Rairhaan needed some red armor to go with his red horns and red tail, so I whipped this up. It took way too long to finish, and the installer option was a mistake.
Supported genders/races: All
Completion status: 100%
Bundled weapons: All of them. Swords, maces, bows, shields, etc.

Support: Male only
Completion: 49%

Background: My Argonian OC, Rallus Far-Seer, needed some sick kicks. The merchant boots from vanilla looked pretty good in black, so I decided to go all the way. This is a modular light armor with about 17 individual pieces to choose from, including 3 different gauntlet types, 3 cuirass types, 5 hood styles, and 5 boot styles to choose from.
Supported genders/races: All
Completion status: Finished
Bundled Weapons: Shield
Availability: Nexus link, will upload here in a little bit

Third armor: Fine Steel Armor
Background: My Khajiit character Zojarr Rairhaan needed some red armor to go with his red horns and red tail, so I whipped this up. It took way too long to finish, and the installer option was a mistake.
Supported genders/races: All
Completion status: 100%
Bundled weapons: All of them. Swords, maces, bows, shields, etc.
Availability: I've uploaded it here on loversLab and it will stay here until I die.

Fourth Armor: Ezio Assasin Creed Armor
Background: This was also for Zojarr. I was bored and disappointed at the lack of AC armors for Skyrim, and I was banned from the Nexus at the time so I made this.
Support: Male only
Completion: 49%
Bundled things: None. Boots, hood, robe, and bracers. That's it.
Availability: Offline

Fifth armor: Demonbane Armor
background: My Cathay-Raht character (who was a preset in a race mod I made) was a heavy armor afficionado. I had also made a cool sword, so I made the armor to go with it.
Supported Races/genders: All
Completion: Completed
Bundled weapons: Greatsword, bow
Availability: Nexus link

Sixth Armor: Lapis Lazuli Armor
Background: One of Zojarr's many personal sets, I was tired of the Glass Armor and was inspired to make this. I had made a weapons set at one point but never actually released/completed them. This armor is stupidly detailed. I mean shit, look at those gauntlets.
Supported races/genders: All
Completion: 100%
Bundled extras: Shield, alternate crown texture

Apparently there is a dislike for SE by you and that other guy. Love SE, stable, no unnecessary conflict headaches, I can wait for SKSE.

OP, those are some nice armors. Also thanks for telling me the programs.

Has MXR, or AlchestBreach done any videos on your armor? They're better than quite a few sets I've seen them do.

Unfortunately not, although you're more than welcome to ask them to.

A few of the, aren't even downloadable yet. I either haven't finished them or have been too busy to upload them.

And I know they're high quality, I made them. One of my mods for Fallout 4 was in several videos.
