Is the Moto Z Play still worth it?

I'm planning to buy a new phone to replace my aging Galaxy A5. Max budget is around P20,000 ($400). I'm considering the Moto Z Play, as the Z2 Play is over my budget, is only available in select stores, and the battery is crappier. OP3T and OP5 are not available in my place, you'd have to go to Manila to buy one. Is the Z Play still worth it?

It's a decent phone with fantastic battery life. Plus you get mods to use with it as well. It'd be something I'd be looking at getting if it supported as many bands as the Z2 Play (which is overpriced).

Can you get the Zenfone 3 Zoom?

probably if u want more future support. but you can always look at budget galaxy or even buy used.

Not really a fan of ASUS' UI, I'd prefer stock Android

It's a better phone. You can't just install a different launcher?

I never understood the allure of stock Android. It's a bit shit tbh.

To each is their own, have used Galaxies and Nexuses from my friends and tbh, the difference in fluidity between the two skins (Touchwiz vs stock) is huge.

How old? The age of the phone makes a massive difference (Touchwiz is much lighter, and again, just download a different launcher and it's sluggishness is gone), as do the internal components. My Note5 compared to my Nexus 5x, the Note is miles faster.
