Thermal Paste Advice

So I'm going to be building my first PC soon, I've been binge watching LTT to make sure I know what I'm doing and what to buy but the one question I still have is about my thermal paste. I'm going to be using a Corsair H100i V2 AiO liquid cooler which has pre-applied thermal paste, should I use that paste or spend the extra $5-$10 to get some of my own and just clean the pre-applied stuff off?

Use the pre applied stuff.

Get MX-4, you will need more paste in the future anyway.

The pre-applied and in box thermal compound from major CPU cooler makers are generally pretty good.

If you're not planning on OC and if this is your first computer build, I would just say use the pre applied.

If you do plan to OC you might want to buy some thermal paste and replace the pre applied.

my experience is they come with decent pre applied paste. 

buuuut you should always have some paste in your toolbox. 

If you are overwhelmed about all of the options and the performance differences, get arctic silver 5 and move on with your life.

The pre-applied paste should be good enough, but if for some reason you need to unmount and remount it, you're going to need to have some of your own. I recommend buying a small tube of Arctic MX-4 to keep on hand just in case.
