Hey guys, Long time watcher first time poster.

I was wondering if a Tutorial series for beginners would be a good idea for LTT or TechQuickie. Short 2-5 min videos that just show step by step how to do basic things that beginners wouldn't know. How to install Windows to a new machine, How to improve your cable management, How to install Linux, etc. etc. Just little things that might help new "Techies". Thoughts?

They are basic, true, but I was thinking more about trying to make this community better as a whole so having simple stuff like this would help out those just getting in. Maybe more fitting for something like Tech Quickie.

Lolz, are you sure? Some of the stuff Linus creates... Few weeks ago I saw a small YT-er build a system with his 2 yo son. It was moar informative/usefull then your average LTT vid.

On-topic: there are already loads of YT tutorials, and Linus already created his own ADD stuff. But people aren't prepaired to use the search function and go trough YT vid lists as it seems.

So double downvote for this idea:

-There are already enough very basic tutorials on YT.

-We don't need any moar crappy LTT vids.

That video is for entertainment purpose, that's what LTT is about

Many of those have already been made on LTT. Those things don't change that much that there would be need for new videos. Like installing Linux is essentially same as installing Windows.
