URGENT Help( laptop network won't work no wifi showing

Ok so I'm on holiday and yesterday I used my laptop it's fine could fine wifi and that yah

 

TODAY and btw there were no updates I did too or installed nothing yet I turned it on today and u know the wifi icon it's that uh square thing with a Red Cross on it the wifi or etherebet not even plugged in icon

 

ok I've tried everyhitng I reason up it was to do with updating windows 8 to 10 UHHHHH NO CUZ I've been on win 10 for years and my network has only just not worked so not that 

 

I done a command and it says 

 

dni_dne is not installed

 

so I searched tried everything I cannot make this work so wtf has happened IT WAS WORKING LITERALLY 5 hours ago now it's not

So you have tried to reintall the wifi drivers?

Have you enabled airplane mode...? Because that icon you say is exactly what shows up on a laptop when you enable airplane mode...

 

EDIT: Oh no I'm wrong, now it displays an actual airplane! I'm quite sure that's new...

Uh That's nice if I could but as I said in the start I was trying to connect to my phone hotspot but cannot so I cannot downloading nothing so I'm screwed plus how will I get them cuz I can't go on internet on laptop

Use a usb stick or if u got a wifi driver disk

maybe try a driver rollback if it was working before.

You can do it locally through Device Maneger. Find the WiFi device right-click and click 'Update driver'. Then in the pop-up box click the 'Browse my computer for driver software'. After that hit the 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer'. Then pick a random driver and install it.

Did you check you didn't accidentally flip the wifi switch to off? Most laptops have a harware switch for wireless. Also, if you have a usb cable you should be able to tether your phone physically so you don't need wifi to work.
