What is the minimum temperature that you should let your computer run at?

Based on all of the different parts in your computer, what is the coldest that you should let it run in Celsius?

The hdd would fail pretty quickly. 

What if there was an SSD in there? No HDD.

as cold as you can get it :P

I don't think you should run your computer at -100C :P

CPUs, GPUs, SSDs, and RAM can go pretty low, mechanical hard drives and optical drives would die very soon after cold temperatures were introduced. Fans might react strangely at freezing temperatures.

I usually don't let my cpu hit above 45-55 Celsius

I dont have my GPU overclocked, but my CPU is usually over clocked to 4.3GHz when doing rendering and what not, then I usually put it down to 4.0GHz when gaming, I do have a Corsair 80i

I don't think you should run your computer at -100C :P

if you run your pc in -100c don`t think it`s going to be a problem :P  whats gonna break if u run it in a -100c enviorment? (enviorment or however it`s written, im norwegian)

ssd, don`t think u use your optical drive in -100c.... and if u run it in -100c u probaly don have liquid cooling... :P or if u have you have some cemicals that does not turn into ice

i wuld try to run a pc and then dip it in liquid nitrogen, just to see what happends :P does liquid nitrogen lead electrisity?

Uhhh Probably not below 0°. I can see some issues with water cooling at freezing temps.

depending on mechanical parts.

 

If it's all solid state: 0 Degrees Kelvin (lowest possible temperature, Outer Space is usually around 14 K)

 

if it's mechanical, I'd say 20 degrees Celsius.
