How many Watts do I need?

martward

Hi all,

I am currently running a system with a 1231v3 and a 1060 (G1 gaming) and I am using it to train neural networks. The next couple of weeks I will need to train a whole lot of networks, so I wanted to add a card so I can train two of them simultaneously. I would like to add a gtx1050, but I am wondering whether my psu (seasoning M12ii 520W) will be sufficient.

Many thanks

You'll be fine as long as its only a 1050 you add.

PS dont use wattage calculators, they suck.

That PSU will be more than enough. It can pretty much hold way more power hungry GPUs
