How would I paint my keyboard cover?

mathmeister

I have a Mechanical Eagle Z-77 and the cover between the keycaps and the pcb is black but I wanted to paint it white it match some keycaps I have. The material is aluminum.

Since you can take out the switches on that keyboard disassemble it and take off the metal plate. Once you take it off you can use regular spray paint to paint over the black plate. Of course follow proper procedures to prep the surfaces or primer and paint.
