8gb ddr4 2400mbps memory

74w battery

1TB of hdd storage

2-3 years at high settings, another few if willing to lower settings further (May be a good idea to add an SSD and replace battery if that gets worn out).

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Even longer than 4 years honestly, but at that point you'd be turning the settings all low, and the res down to 720p most likely.

3 years normal gaming plus work use

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later

My head on 2019 :

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol

Depends on a lot of factors.

You can have one that lasts 10 years, or it could die in 3 years.  If one component came off the assembly line with a minor defect, that will affect the lifespan.  If you treat it with care , clean the dust at regular intervals and don't put the laptop on a pillow so that it overheats, it'll last a lot longer than if you don't maintain it at all.

As for performance, my default answer is that I don't expect to see massive leaps in the coming years.  Then again with the whole Intel/AMD war heating up again, you never know.
