What to do with Intel Nuc?

I was given an Intedl Nuc. Any thoughts on what to do with it? I think it has a i3 or an i5.

Do you need another desktop computer? If you have no use for it then selling it and using that money elsewhere would be what I would do.

I've heard that some of those Nucs can be used for a hackintosh, although without the model I don't know for certain. You could look more into that (not here on LTT) if that is something you want to try.

Lower powered, small, free. Sounds like a good applicant for it. You can store it locally, and hide it if needed. Since it was free, letting it catch some drive by ad delivered malware on your shadier of sites isn't as big of a deal. And the best part, no need to adjust volume controls if you don't have headphones.

Yours with an i3/i5 can be a very capable machine.

It's fast enough (assume recent generations) to do normal browsing and video playing

I bought a single core atom nuc (yes the weakest of them all) as a linux based headless music server, because main PC is just not stable enough.

Attach a Razer Core to it and turn it into a small gaming beast!!
