GTX 1060 3 GB ok ?

Hi.

I wanna buy myself a GTX  1060.

Here in germany is every F****** 1060 6GB !  Sold out.

Can i also grab a 3 GB Version without trouble ?

ich würde keine 1060 mit 3gb kaufen sondern ein wenig warten bis die 6gb versionen wieder verfügbar sind.

 

I would not buy a 1060 with 3gb, i wold wait until the 6gb versions are available again.

And the PC should be a solid build for some years.

Wäre die GTX 1050 TI ne alternative ? da mein Budget eigentlich für ne 1060 reicht, könnte ich auch die beste 1050TI benutzen.

1060 3gb sometimes hit the vram limit now, and will hit it more frequently in the future. If you want it to last for years 6gb or 1070 are the only ways without downgrading.

If you wanna keep it for a few years than yeah, 6 gb would be ideal.

1050ti's alternative is the slightly slower RX 560.

Second hand 980ti or wait for 6gb 1060, you can buy from Spain or France too, but maybe shipping is a bit expensive

Well um er there's an issue, miners have made 1070s near impossible to find...

 

You could consider a 980 ti though, it's basically the 1070 equivalent from last year and you may be able to get a good price for it used.
