Where can i find the cmos chip on the motherboard?

What are you gonna do? Desolder the cmos chip? lol

Just remove the battery and it should reset.

So i once goofed around the mother board and messed something up so now my computer dosent show anything(black screen) until its completely turned on.and i didnt have a problem with that until now that i wanna use my cpu to have duel monitor so i wanna reset my bios but i cant find the cmos chip.
my motherboard is : Z170-GAMING K3.

Are you looking for a chip? Look for a battery! Just below the red PCI x16 slot.

To reset the bios just remove the battery for a few minutes and replace it.

Refer to your motherboard's manual for detailed instructions on how to reset the bios
