most mining boards use 1x pcie lanes, because they just dont need the lanes. youll be fine

Lol, I think the exception to this is the people who have mined for years and won't sell after ether drops. The annoying this is the people who buy them up and will sell them, unless you are like me and can buy an r9 390 for 170 and sell it 370 (330 after fees)
