How much vram for minecraft

i want to know how much vram i would need to play minecraft my build budget is 800$ i just want to know the right video card and vram to play minecraft for my budget not the whole build just card

i grandmas mac has 512 mb hd 6770 i think with an i5 and at 16 chunks it gets like 200 fps

Minecraft relies heavily on the CPU. There's videos out there running Minecraft on a potato vs a Titan and the results are, well, shocking.

oh, I'm blind. You could get away with integrated graphics on an i3. If you want to go overkill then you could even get an rx460/gtx1050 (whichever is cheaper) or some used gpu.

Sure, you can run Minecraft on a toaster, but if you play it modded with shaders, prepare to get a cold slap to the face.

Minecraft runs like garbage on anything. But I do get around 700FPS with my 1080 and 6800K

i was thinking lower in price i just lowest to play like minecraft csgo mw2 mw3 cod and those moba and fps games

@KieranTHeBesT you can play all those games with integrated graphics, you can play all the older cods (black ops 2 and older) all source games (half life series, left 4 dead series, portal series, csgo), minecraft, and many others, id reccomend this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rwsTf8

Well sure.  There's also high-end graphics packs available.  Thing is the OP didn't state he was doing any of that, so I just looked up the regular requirements.
