you'd honestly be better off waiting for some money, you can get a quality mic maybe like a blue yeti or at2020 + mix amp, and a good pair of headphones compared to that

I have proper monitors and a condencer mic for audio I just want something wireless to lie in bed with and game late at night with out disturbing people

I own these.  They're comfortable, and the sound is decent. However, if your looking for true dolby 7.1 surround,  there are better headsets out there   The Cue software still kinda sucks, but its gotten better.  But overall, they're not terrible. I can wear them for hours without wanting to rip them off my head.  80 pounds (103 usd) seems a bit steep.  I'd try to find them on sale.

Can you set them to straight stereo if you want too ? 

Thats all I want is something not driving me crazy with a cable dragging around 

as long as the sound quality is better than my turtle beach Xbox 360 head phone il be happy

Pretty sure you can.  If thats all you need, then these will do just fine.
