The Audio Technica ATH-M40x and M50x is a good option in that price range

I love my m50xs, and they've been fantastic for everything from filmmaking to Battlefield.

I'd just get a really good pair of music headphones like ATH M40x or 50x. Openback headphones are good for gaming but music, I tend to prefer closed back headphones

ATH-M50X, M40s are good but I like the extra bass in the M50X

they sound almost identical to the m50x from what I've heard (lmfao), but with slightly less bass

they're closed back, so they do 'keep sound inside them'

the cables that came with my m50x are fantastic

the plus side to an 'x' sku is that the cable is detachable, so if it was ever to break, you can just swap in a new one and keep using the headphones

you should get 3 types of cables in the box that are detachable. At least with the M50X

A long standard, a long coiled one, and a normal sized standard. (an adaptor should be in there too)
