This is about as cheap as you can go without getting a terribly ugly and annoying to build in case and compromising on performance. Though you do lose the SSD. $500 is the sweet spot for a low budget, and $650-$700 for a low, but pretty good budget. $1200 is the sweet spot for a great PC, and $2000-$2500 for a top of the line gaming monster.
