Hello, first time installer here.

Sorry if I sound silly, but in the 1080 box came two cables that should be connected to the graphics card. My question is if I can use the cables meant for pcie that came in my psu box?

The pcie cable from the psu, would allow me to use only one cable instead of two.

Is this ok? Or are the cables that come in the graphics card packaging mandatory?

Those cables that come with the GPU are completely optional and included for compatibility with PSUs that might not have dual 8pin or whatever connectors on them :)
