Hello. I just a new pc, with these specs

Spoiler

04911eebde784836dd5ac95fbdbc8428.png

I "only" get 200-300 fps, no matter the settings in game. I'm not using any launch options.

Reason I'm making this thread is that I think the pc should be performing better than it is on csgo. Hopefully somebody can help me. (Sorry if I posted this in wrong section or it's not allowed on this site)

Well that seems reasonable for a good pc. Usually it is stuck at 300 if you have a nice pc but honestly I don't think it really matters in your case because you have a 144hz monitor so you don't gain much for fps above 144. You will get a slight competitive edge if you have higher fps but not that much. Essentially you will get a more up to date frame each time your monitor fetches a frame from the gpu the higher your fps is. Now this isn't huge when your monitor is a 144hz monitor because you already get pretty good advantage from getting information back 144 times a second.

My old pc, that was one third of the price of this one, and did nearly as well in performance on csgo. I find it hard to believe that's how it should be.

You can remove the fps cap in csgo, and it makes no difference. I still believe it should be performing better. Any other ideas?

Honestly I don't see the point in trying to get better performance when you get more than enough performance than you really need

If I didn't need more, I wouldn't be asking for solutions or answers.

You're free to believe that it makes no difference, but I don't have to agree.
Plus, it's irrelevant if it makes any difference if my pc isn't performing what it should be. It's a brand new pc, if it's not performing what it should be performing, I'd say that's a major issue.

CS:GO has 300FPS cap by default I think... you need to unlock it via command in the console.

Not sure what the command is, Google it.

Read my previous  replies. Already said that I'm aware of the limit and it has been  removed...
Besides, the limit is irrelevant when the pc drops below 300?

That's pretty much the point where every system stops at when it comes to CS:GO.

Really? I thought I had seen youtubers and others getting 400+ while recording?

Oh... I see. WTF is that DDR3?

2133MHz CL15-15-15-36? That's terrible!

Sorry, I'm not following? The RAM should be "G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8GB) 2133Mhz DDR4"

Sorry, typo. I meant DDR4.

I can't see the Cas Latency specifications on that website. CL15 for DDR4 2133MHz is a huge latency. That's what is most likely causing your FPS drops.
