Some keyboards come with O-rings already (My logitech G710+ did) but my K70 LUx did not.

Aww thanks guys :) Much appreciated. ... I also like the ModMic ... *looks at his signature* yep.

Even with the ModMic in uni-mode you may still want to dampen your keyboard noise. It doesn't hurt to do so regardless of mic choice, though you can always get the mic first and see how good/bad it is before starting.

Either something like ModMic or any dynamic microphone. (Again like a broken record) AVOID Snowball or Yeti or any other large diaphragm condenser microphone if you are concerned about microphone picking up a keyboard noise. O-rings will help but only a bit.

Seriously, I believe there should be a pinned topic in this forum with a subject of avoiding large diaphragm condenser microphones if you have concerns about picking up surrounding noise because I find at least 2-3 times a week a post about someone complaining about that. Yet, STILL  people are recommending them and eg. o-rings or God knows what other accessories instead of just telling them to AVOID those microphones and get something different.

Eh, I think ModMic is overrated. Especially when one is trying to look to remove as much background noise (including keyboard clicks) as possible. Its only really so popular as there are not many solutions to have a mic right up at your face with convenience (barring studio mics on a arm but thats too cumbersome) and it gets the job done decently.

I have had much better results from Sennheiser headsets than ModMic (3 and 5, 4 is same quality as 5). Any variations of PC36X series would be the most ideal ones for reducing unwanted noise being captured. Of course, this means you have to use headset for listening as well, which may not work if you are absolutely mandating on using any other headphone you already have.

Hey @wako7654 - Well, not at this moment, though you can buy from us directly and we'll ship it internationally. I will say I am literally working out the details for distribution into Japan right now, but even if we sign the contract tomorrow (and there's no guarantee it won't fall apart completely) it may be a while before it appears in the marketplace. We're getting there! global distribution is our eventual goal.
