How to Check if Laptop Supports NVMe in M.2 slot

Hi I'm shopping for a new M.2 SSD for my laptop, and I consider buying NVMe SSD. The problem is I don't know if my laptop supports NVMe. Any tips? Thank you.

1. Option: just try it, buy it and send it back if it doesn't work

2. option: take a look in the bios settings and see if you can find something related to storage that says sth with nvme/pcie

3. option: google

Usually said in spec sheet. If not, contact manufacturer's support.
