Corsair MM800 bug???

My static color wont save on my MM800 Mouse pad. but my keyboard will save???? any explanation for this????

It's a mouse pad.

If you want the LED to save the software needs to be on in the background because it doesn't store settings on it.

Corsair CUE should be set to auto start on login.

I mean it's a mousepad, what do you expect honestly? Sure it would make sense that such a premium/niche (I suppose) product would have onboard storage, but at least CUE doesn't murder boot times unlike certain other Corsair software. glares at LINK

It's a RAM & CPU hog though until you delete all the extraneous profiles in its folder

 

Normal 0-1% usage on idle

With CUE it shot up to 14% lmao

CUE doesn't even bother my CPU unless I'm actually dicking with it. But that might be because I only have a Strafe non-RGB and an M65 Pro RGB.

 

Now LINK on the other hand... oof. Always uses at least 4% of my CPU with spikes into the low teens.

Really? I only have a Strafe non-RGB and until I deleted the extra profiles it was a CPU background hog lol spikes to 20 and usually 15%. And I have a 4770K so browsing and Spotify literally uses 0-1%

Yup. The only issue I have with CUE is (I think) more of a mouse limitation where I can't store my color shift profile to it (it just uses my old static color profile).
