RX 580s

2 questions:

 

1] On amazon the MSI Gaming X RX 580 says that it is for pre order, do you know when they will be released,

2] Is 200-250 pounds good for a 580?

I believe all RX 580's are sold out, who knows when they'll come back in stock.

Get GTX 1060 and avoid MSi.

It is currently mining season so all RX 580's are sold out.

My MSI R9 380 has been through a lot. 

 

Bad memory OCs (with burning computer smell), dirty power, shorts, black outs, rolling power fluctuations. Its survived everything. Would be hard pressed to risk buying another brand tbh.

5. R9 390 (Owned & RMA'd with GTX 970 again from ASUS this time)

6. GTX 1070 (When I built PC for my friend)

7. GTX 1050 Ti (When I build PC for my girlfriend)

MSI has never let me down and I will most likely buy my next GPU from them.

These were used and sent to scrapyard. I use currently my new rig for work. Soon replacing with Xeon Gold or Platinum.

Personally speaking I second that MSi should be avoided, they are a lot more about intensive gaming marketing than actual quality and their costumers service is simply AWFUL in south america, like the worse there is.

According to whom? MSi themselves? I would never pick it over Asus or EVGA but I'm not here to start a discussion, let's keep it simple for the thread's sake, some people dislike the brand for their reasons and that is every one's right, we're not even arguing which rx580 should OP buy since there's none available right now to begin with and if I had to advise a rx580 to someone it would be the Sapphire Nitro+ but that isn't because I'm anti-MSi Gaming X more about just preferring that other offering instead out of my personal experience with hardware.
