I've got a 5050 rgb header free on my mobo and some red front LED, looking for some affordable and good looking rgb.

Cable Mods, Bitfenix are the go to plug and go solution. If you don't mind doing a little DIY work you can get a roll from Amazon and cut/wire it to length.

Yes that will but I must say that is pretty pricey for a two foot length of lights

This is way cheaper, for the same result not to mention with a controller and remote which wouldn't be needed in this use case.

if not some generic 5050 off ebay or amazon will work. hell the ones linus and luke used as bondage rope looked decent unless the editing made them look that good
