Should I build my own or buy from someone else ?

I am very troubled right now, I want a gaming computer and my budget is 1200 including tax(13%) and I know building my own will save money and I know how to build my own. I am scared that if I break a part I can't buy another do I am screw with all these parts and no computer. Any tips or reassurance or help or sites to help me. Also if you have a link to a site that builds computers(Canada) that's cheap leave one THANK YOU

It depends on how much you want to be your own tech support or rely on the community to help you with problems. At least with a pre-built system, you're more or less guaranteed a working system out of the box.

 

If you want to get some practice on building in a manner of speaking, you can take your existing computer and start playing with the hardware. That's what I did before I built my first computer.

you may brake something while making your own build, and you may spill a drink onto a preconfigured system. So both can die if accidents happen. 

 

So try to build it yourself.

If you build it yourself you will be very proud of the result for a long time to come. If you buy a pre-built you will get bored of it fairly quickly.

Have you ever assembled a small Lego set? If so, you can build a computer. There's very, very little to it. As long as you don't force things in and are gentle it's a breeze. I've taught many ex gfs how to do it, none of whom had any kind of experience with electronics.

I'm almost positive the $50 only works if you have a cart full of the rest of the components, and then they assemble it for you. You can't send them parts, have them assemble it, and then they ship it out for $50. It wouldn't be financially feasible.
