Which is better Gigabyte Rx460 WF2 or Gigabyte nvidia GTX 1050ti WF2?

andybeech

So from the title im wondering which GPU is better the AMD Gigabyte RX460 WF2 OC 4gb or the Nvidia Gigabyte GTX 1050TI WF2 4gb im currently rocking a old Nvidia 760GTX OC Windforce 3 fan gpu. But I need to upgrade as its not performing up to now a days games it does well but need it to do better plus VR in future maybe. Seen these 2 cards for the same price well AMD is £101 and Nvidia £137 and thought would these be any better and which one is better I pretty much have stuck with Nvidia since I have built pcs as I know them well and they have always preformed best. But as AMD seems to be stepping there game back up I was wondering which one is good to use. Im using a Intel i5 7500 on a gigabyte b250-HD3P mobo with 8Gb DDR4 Corsair vengeance LPX will be upgrading too, a 120gb SSD and 500gb HDD need to change as well as the 760GTX OC and soundblaster z.

May need to save up but seen these at under £150 so thought if there better I may get one next payday usually I spend £250 on a GPU.

I play GTA V, CSGO, Rust, 7 Days to Die, Rainbow Six Seige, minecraft and more

thanks

Oh and did Linus do any videos on these cards cant remember? 9_9

the 460/560 is slower,

if you find a cheap 470/570 it would roll all over the 1050 ti in price to perf

for example yes

how much more in terms of performance does it have over the nvidia 1050ti also that one is actually not available yet :(

Edit: looking on Ebay the 470 isnt even in the UK yet :/

nice so out of the 2 i listed the 1050ti and the 460 which would be better over my 760GTX, as looking at gpu that are available currently, also at a nice price.

the 470 is being replaced with the 570 (higher clocks and faster memory), in terms of perf the 40 is around 25% faster than the 1050 ti

What about a GTX 1060? A 1050 Ti won't handle VR.

yea did think about the 1060 there about £230-£250 range so would have to save but may be worth it and oh ok fair enough wasnt sure if the 1050ti would kinda the numbers and series is hard to understand sometimes. Currently rocking a 8800GTX in my stream RIG xD old skool 11 years old card.
