I'm not too sure because of that cpu, Why do you want high refresh gaming on this low of a budget anyways?

Edit: It will, but the 1% and .1% will dip below 100 a lot.

which cpu do you think i should use instead?

The cpu is fine for your purpose, but I still don't understand why you want that high of a framerate while sacrificing the quality of the game. It runs well on high setting with that hardware around 100 fps average.

Does the monitor have freesync or g-sync out of curiosity, because if it has freesync then you should save for r5 1400 + rx 570

im pretty sure this is quite the multi post, which you are not suposed to do. this is the same thread basically as i saw earlier. this will run it at over 60 atleast, i would say probably over 80fps but 144fps i dont know, if it had a RX 570 i would say that it would probably do it but not with a 1050TI which is the exact same response i had to one of your erlier posts.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

To begin with half the form cares when you fill up their feed with the same question... So don't be obnoxious, secondly, why the hell are you running a 144hz monitor when you can clearly not afford a pc to run the games at that refresh rate. Re think this whole build instead of making more and more topics waiting for someone who to tell you that your build will magically run at 144hz
