about a year and a half i posted saying something along the lines of i wonder when intel will release a linup of i9 cpu's. the response i got was that intel will only ever release their 13, i5, i7, and extreme edition cpu's. there will never be an i9 cpu because they just refresh the i3, i5,i7, and rename the extreme edition cpus like devils canyon. i wasnt convinced. does the warrent an i told you so moment or what. lol

The idea of the i9 lineup isn't new, I think there was mention of rumours about the i9 chips going back forever ago on the second-most recent WAN show.

However, I'm sure you wish your timing had been better (:

Sig under construction.

Your reasoning for thinking that is a factor. If you had some great insight that no one else did, sure. But since you likely have access to the same information as the rest of the world, I doubt you had much of any substance to base that on a year and a half ago. You guessed right, but it was probably still a guess.

It might warrant an 'I told you so,' but I'm not sure it warrants the thread in which to say it. :P
