I've bought Silicon Power products in the past and while they are not the best, they are mostly reliable (note the mostly).

Storage is an area in which I recommend you not cut corners, you do not need to buy the newest and greatest but spend the extra $30 or so to get something from Kingston or Sandisk as they offer similar drives in the $60-$80 range.

I wouldn't trust them.

 

I would highly recommend the Samsung 850 Evo SSDs, I have one in my desktop and one in my laptop, they're fantastic, no problems at all with them, and they're fast as well.

I have @Droidbot's SSD tier list in my sig, and he has his in his sig as well, get something tier 1 or 2 or 3.
