Posted May 26, 2017 no. and the new one wont be either I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays... nothing, it just sits there collecting dust... Builds: The Toaster Project! Northern Bee! The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0) Spoiler "Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life. #1. Treat others as you would like to be treated. #2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt. #3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place. Follow these simple rules in life, and I promise you, things magically get easier. Posted May 26, 2017 It was never worth it if you ask me. Unless you really have a need for a very small form factor PC, I would just buy something else or build an mITX system.

Off the top of my head....Better trackpad, better screen (good for editing), tight integration with iOS, subjectively better OS, far less telemetry, FCP/LP, xcode PSU Tier List | CoC Gaming Build | FreeNAS Server Spoiler i5-4690k || Seidon 240m || GTX780 ACX || MSI Z97s SLI Plus || 8GB 2400mhz || 250GB 840 Evo || 1TB WD Blue || H440 (Black/Blue) || Windows 10 Pro || Dell P2414H & BenQ XL2411Z || Ducky Shine Mini || Logitech G502 Proteus Core Spoiler FreeNAS 9.3 - Stable || Xeon E3 1230v2 || Supermicro X9SCM-F || 32GB Crucial ECC DDR3 || 3x4TB WD Red (JBOD) || SYBA SI-PEX40064 sata controller || Corsair CX500m || NZXT Source 210. Posted May 26, 2017 2 minutes ago, Orangeator said: Name one thing a Mac can do that a PC cannot do, please indeed enlighten me. Final Cut Pro X. It's awesome and cheaper than Premier Pro, the other main program used for video editing. Xcode, needed to make iOS and Mac Apps. They're often more stable and secure, and simpler to use. Also, they never magically decide to install updates unless you told them to. Free OS updates (though now with win10 that isn't really a thing). Excellent customer support. Posted May 26, 2017 Just now, Electronics Wizardy said: final cut, logic pro, autodesk smoke, xcode and ios dev. Final cut is video editing, that is not something a mac can do that a PC cannot lol. Okay logic pro if I remember correctly is for super high end audio stuff, which PC can do as well. Fine, if you absolutely need autodesk smoke for some odd reason then get a Mac, however what auto desk smoke does can still be done on a PC with other software... And now you list two things that only Mac's can do, however, the functionality of those things are limited to only Mac eco-system anyways. So again, Mac is over priced, proprietary as shit, over marketed low end hardware/software. GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
 Posted May 26, 2017 On topic: No. The Mac mini isn't really worth it, as for the price of a decent one, it's just a little stretch to an iMac. Which has speakers, a display, mouse, keyboard, etc. Intel HEDT and Server platform enthusiasts: Intel HEDT Xeon/i7 Megathread Main PC CPU: i9 7980XE @4.5GHz/1.22v/-2 AVX offset Cooler: EKWB Supremacy Block - custom loop w/360mm +280mm rads Motherboard: EVGA X299 Dark RAM:4x8GB HyperX Predator DDR4 @3200Mhz CL16 GPU: Nvidia FE 2060 Super/Corsair HydroX 2070 FE block Storage: 1TB MP34 + 1TB 970 Evo + 500GB Atom30 + 250GB 960 Evo Optical Drives: LG WH14NS40 PSU: EVGA 1600W T2 Case & Fans: Corsair 750D Airflow - 3x Noctua iPPC NF-F12 + 4x Noctua iPPC NF-A14 PWM OS: Windows 11 Display: LG 27UK650-W (4K 60Hz IPS panel) Mouse: EVGA X17 Keyboard: Corsair K55 RGB Mobile/Work Devices: 2020 M1 MacBook Air (work computer) - iPhone 13 Pro Max - Apple Watch S3 Other Misc Devices: iPod Video (Gen 5.5E, 128GB SD card swap, running Rockbox), Nintendo Switch
