Hey! Im planning on buying a i7 7700k but before i buy it, is then any cpus better around the same Price range?? somne ryzens maybe, but I'd go for Intel because of hte lower TDP

So you want a better CPU, but not from Intel's competitor? Huh.

 

Also, get some RAM that you can get in your region that is listed in the motherboard's QVL.

well... Intel is stupid (see the thermal problems of the 7700ks) but not that stupid that they would offer a better performing chip in the lineup for the same price... the only chip that obviously delivers similar but lower performance at a slightly lower price point is the 7700, but that chip is not overclockable.

There is no mysterical third chip manufacturer, so if you want better (multithreaded) performance for the price, you HAVE to go AMD and their ryzen 7 chips.

 

EDIT: as @MkaiL stated, there is the last gen i7 6700k, but most times you pay the same price as for the 7700k as far as I have seen prices so far

  1. The Ryzen 7 1700 would be way better for your usage
  2. If you don't want to get a Ryzen CPU, get a 5820K. It is better for editing and you can find it for $300 in Mircocenter :P
