yea the highest speed we can get here is 8mbits and it costs 120$ and has a limit of 30gb. I got the 2mbits deal. And this is new, about 5 months ago the fastest internet line in the country was 2mbits HDSL and costed 300$ !!!!! Mine peaked at 15 kB/s:)

I love my school. :D

This was over break when nobody was here (that's about as high as down speeds get):

And this is now when everyone's back on campus and it's like 9PM:

Imagine my dismay when I'm home with my parents for break and am stuck with 12 down and 1.5 up...

Damn. Thats pretty good

Because Romania FTW lol. Yeah we are like in top 10 world wide. (i think, I quote my self again "I think") where you can get the most of 1MB/$. It sucks if I think that I want to go to UK where 75Mbps costs about 5times more than here :(.

Australia has pretty shit Internet, but atm the government is rolling out fibre to the whole country, can't wait

I wish the US would do that because the government is always talking about how they are better than any other country yet their technology sucks and other things that have to do with politics.

Yup just as I stated above 75Mbps for almost 5times as much as I pay here for 100Mbps. But still salary is alot better there than here.

Wish britain would invest in high speed internet in Liverpool, but no because only London is important to the government, seriously i see people getting 80+Mb per second, im getting 1Mbper second and that is in liverpool city centre, my 3G is faster, and 4G to me was a godsend

Pretty good considering we're paying for 25/2, although its $50 a month due to living in a city where a small company owns the fibre wire to our house so not much else to choose from.

And my dad wont upgrade to 100/10 which is $60 a month. But once i move out i'll probably get a decent internet connection.

Okay this isn't at prime time, but I'm on a shared gigabit line limited by my current accommodations router at uni. There was only 15 of the packages available in the block, and 9 are still available.. speeds are pretty constant. Also the lines are rented off BT, but the IP lookup is registered to ask4 (The BT openreach people were here yesterday lol)

I'll be moving my server to a friends offices soonish as he's having a 70/70 business line put in :)

120/10Mbps(that's what I'm paying for) + unlimited calls(Europe) + 144 TV channels(most of them in HD; HBO, Canal+ and Orange Sports that airs wrestling/mma PPVs for free) for ~$60.

They use dollars in Poland? Hmmm.....
