We have fiberglass internet connection in The Netherlands (only some places not everyone), we can get up to 500Mb/s up and 500Mb/s down, but we only have 50Mb/s up and down. We are paying €50 per month (66.62 USD) for internet, tv + radio (analog and digital including 16 HD channels) and phone.

It's capable of 1Gbps, but it's hard to find a server that can saturate it,

Gotta love living in student houses. This is part of my rent. But when I move out getting even 5/1 will cost around 25€. Best part is when gaming and ping in Nordic servers is under 10.

For me even 1mb/s would cost 30€/month. Nice to live at countryside.
