R5 1600 Ram

Hey, I am looking to buy new RAM for my System. Right now it has: G.Skill F4-3000C15D-16GVR. Ist crap, it doesn't go past 2133 MHz on my Asrock AB350M Mainboard. Any recommedations ?

Intel i9-7960X || ASUS WS X299 PRO || INNO3D RTX 2080 TI || 4x16 GB Samsung DDR4 || MasterCase SL600M

Check what is available in your region according to the QVL:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M/#Memory (I assumed you don't have the Pro 4 model)

 

Keep in mind Ryzen likes faster RAM, but memory over 2999MHz wont make much of a difference.

Well Flare X has been proven to run at 3200 and that is what I'm running with no issues however that is 16gig in 2 dimm slots I believe there is a performance drop if you populate all 4 but not sure on that that was earlier on they may have corrected that as well.

Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill. But I usually see the popularity of Corsair Vengeance series (I kinda like RGB ram for now!).

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).
