Oh nice, this will be sweet. Ryzen and Vega are a big improvement from previous and great to see AMD in laptop space once again. Also the mentioned APU based on them shows a massive improvement from older gen ones so will awesome to see what they come up with. Regular Ryzen and dedicated Vega and APU for more budget option.

I came into this thread expecting Asus to have announced they reworked their RMA departments to actually offer some service.

As a CST student I am really excited for these laptops. I need a minimum of 8 threads for VMs(more is better) that doesn't cost $2000 or weigh 23453455 tons in my bag. Ryzen can be the solution for me.

I just want a Ryzen APU. 

 

1600 with APU as good as 1050 maybe? Seems asking too much.
