PC needs to rest a few hours after bootloop

cynexit

Alright, this is an odd one.

I have a PC that sometimes crashes (no bluescreen, screen just goes black) and then directly tries to reboot for a second, then goes out again, tries to boot again for a second, and so on and so on...

If I cut the power, plug it back in and try to restart it, the loop just starts again. If I wait for ~2h and try it again, the PC magically boots again.

At first I thought this would be a PSU issue, but even when I switch the PSU directly after the crash everything stays exactly the same...

Has anybody seen something like this before and can give me some pointers?

Defy sounds like a heat thing if you have to give it a break. Check coolers for dust and do things

CPU and GPU are in a custom loop and pretty cool, the only thing I could think of are the VRMs on the MoBo, but they are at ~49°C according to Aida, the PSU is at 37°C according to Corsair Link. All of these sound "alright" to me, did I forget something?

I tired a AX860i and Seasonic Prime, both show the same behaviour. :/

None of them look bloaty or bigger than they should be, anything other to look out for in optics?

Tried with and without the gpu?

Fuck never mind they're in a loop. I think its time to RMA the mobo.
