G4400 and gtx 1050 did I make good decisions

Today I bought g4400 and 1050 so it is good or did I make wrong decision I know g4560 is good but I don't have lots of money to spend on cpu so tell me is it good or not

It's not "good", but then it would depend on your budget. Personally I'd have gone for an athlon II x4 instead of a dual core pentium without hyperthreading,  they're dirt cheap now and some games simply won't run if they don't detect 4 cores.

 

It would have been a good idea to ask here BEFORE buying...

g4560 and rx 470/570 would have been a lot better even though it cost a bit more it's a significantly better combo...

This system is ok, The g4560 is much better value and extra threads are worth it, especially in games that require 4 threads to run. If you can, return your g4400 and get the g4560 if you can. That would be much better and would last longer as more and more games outright require 4 threads. Sorry for the bad news.

Bad choice, in terms of "bang for your buck" / value

 

G4400 is a bit cheaper then G4560, but performance difference is significant. If G4560 is just out of budget, try snatch an old AMD FX6100 or Athlon X4 740k.

 

a GTX 1050 is mildly cheaper than a 1050ti, but performance struggles at 1080p medium / high settings for most games. I won't talk about AMD RX 400 series cards because the 550 is worse, 460 is similar, 470 is too expensive if your budget is tight.

I suggest considering older cards like a GTX 770 4GB or R9 280X/285.
