500$ Build - Trying to improve ^_^

GamerGuy

Hi guys, I am maybe going to build a 500$ PC soon.

I am making this post now not only to get the parts but also learn from my mistakes ;)

Before I begin I would love to thank you all, THX <3 :D

Ok so this build will be used mainly for gaming but also minor editing on sony vegas pro 11 (Just taking video files, cutting them and rendering them for Youtube)

Goals:

-Would like to game at Mid-High (Depending on the game) I will be playing mainly BF3, and mostly F2P games like LoL and Need for speed world.

-Render while playing games having no noticeable lag also as fast rendering speeds/uploading as possible :)

After getting that out of the way, as mentioned it is a 500$ build (No need for mouse, keyboard, monitor and OS)

This is the build I came up with, how is it? Any way to improve it? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/24FFY

Important question: The mobo I added and the CPU are both a -50$ combo and it won't show up on my list as if there is no combo, why? The combo I'm talking about is located here: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga78lmtusb3 (2nd combo)

Thx <3

I would get a case with front USB 3.0 http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/case/#sort=a8&u=1. I would also upgrade to a 7950 and get a 600W power supply, just buy all of the parts on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

I might sound like an idiot, but when is the next Black Friday/Cyber Monday? xD

To be honest that build looks pretty darned good but as has been said, black friday and cyber monday are coming up so it is a good time to buy. I don't know when exactly they are though. I live in AUS and there is no such equivalent. :(

Nicely done. Black Friday is the day after US Thanksgiving. November 29th is the date. But I'd start watching for sales a few days before.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
