SLI or new GPU?

Looking to get more "oomph" soon from my PC.

Would it beneficial to go SLI or to go with a newer and better single card?

Keep in mind, cost is a big factor.

Nothing wrong with a 670, plenty of grunt, add another.

How much do you have to spend?

 

I have plenty for any card on the market, but I'm a tight ass and reluctant to part with money :P

Well, if you were to get a better card which one would it be? That'll help the decision be easier. Personally I'd get a better card though, never touched SLI and don't plan on it.

Then the obvious answer is 780Ti or R9 290x

Wouldn't two 670's perform better than the 780ti? or I'm I completely out of the loop ;p

Another GPU. 670 is still plenty powerful, Try still running on a GTX 460. Playing BF4 all low@1080 but still getting 60 FPS

Get another 670

A 670 is still a great card. To upgrade and make it worth your while you would have to step up to something pretty significant I think

Get a cheap 670.

No, but better than 780 at stock speeds. So, if you can get a card that overclocks just as well or better, as your current one then yes.
