This is my review of CybertronPC. (In pros & cons)

----------------------------

Pros

1. Decent To Good prices. Depends on the computer you chose.

2. Accurate Shipping date. I contacted live chat to get a ET on the shipping date and they told me it would ship (Insert Date Here) which it did.

3. Fast, speedy and cool computers! (Stays nice and cool during Prime95 CPU Stress test. Stays below 60C. On Valley Benchmark 1.0 Its score comes out to be 2578 while staying under 70C (On all graphic modes). It also runs almost any game at above 60+ fps.

4. It was very easy to install expansions & new parts into the system

5. AMAZING CABLE MANAGEMENT! You can barely see any cables through the side panel window.

----------------------------

Cons:

1. Took over a month to produce and deliver to me. ( Some address glitch or something )

2. Comes with default heatsink. This isn't a issue for most people with your average $100 CPU. But AMD's FX-8350s Stock Cooler is... how do I explain it. A airplane engine? The 70mm fan on this heatsink spins at over 5000 rpm and heats up to a max temp at around 80C. To solve this I had to buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Now it never goes over 60C.

3. The computer would NOT turn on after first plugging the pc into the wall & powering on. Found out one day later that the 24pin connector was not seated at all and had to rewire the reset button as the power button.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

My overall rating of CybertronPC would be a solid 4/5. Would recommend them!

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

You gave a 4/5 to a company that:

  • sold you an FX8350
  • with a stock cooler no less
  • screwed up shipment and took over a month to deliver your system
  • and it wouldn't even turn on

Do you work for IGN?

You forgot about the FX8350 in 2017 and a stock cooler.

I can only imagine what the CPU/mobo look like.

Well yeah, but it depends how much the PC cost... I mean, if it was $99 then it's not a bad deal.

I found this last week in a NZ computer store for $3000. Clearly amateur hour at GlobalPC.

If that build cost more than $500, then frankly, you got fucked.

- AMD Non-Ryzen CPUs are utter shit. AMD shouldn't even be producing them anymore IMO

- The whole fucking point of CyberpowerPC is that people who don't know how to build a PC can get a nice gaming PC with custom specs. but the only reason it turned on, is because you knew how to build a PC!

- Needing to change a CPU cooler because the stock one sounded like a chainsaw isn't something the end user usually will or can do. again, the only reason this PC is somewhat satisfactory for you, is because you know how to build a PC!

I have no doubt that the PSU in there is shit as well. The one system I bought from them had the worst PSU imaginable. it died after 3 years, and it was an off-brand piece of garbage that they sell to consumers because an 850W PSU is impressive, although not needed for a GTX 760.

1/5 Highly Not Reccomended
