Headphones right driver not working

So JBL has gone down hill? I remember in the early 2000s them Compaq laptpo with JBL Audio. best sounding computer speakers on a laptop. IMO probably still better than most of them ones on laptops today.

So do you a basic cheap headphones to test out?

JBL makes terrible headphones.  You buy JBL's Pro Audio stuff, not their consumer crap.

The ones came with the Compaq Laptop sounds pretty good, then again I'm not a audiophile.

Laptop speakers are generally so horrible, a mediocre one sounds good to most peoples books.  And you can use software tricks to make them sound better than they actually are.

Are you in America? If you get a refund on them, I think you can afford to get a Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 on-ear, the wired version.  Amazon has the on-ears for about $130.

While majority of them are crap. the one from the Compaq Presario are pretty good. This was during Win98 and there are no software tricks, just the basic audio driver.
