Hey guys,

Just wonder, if I were to get an AMD R9 280X, which is the best brand to go for in terms customer service and stuff?

I'll put it another way. Who is the EVGA of AMD GPUs?

ASUS ?

Erm, so you believe they're the EVGA of AMD GPUs? The reason I ask is because on the NVIDIA side, when people are deciding what brand to go for, like if it's between ASUS and EVGA, it's usually recommended to go with EVGA.

Asus is the best in my opinion but the EVGA of AMD is Sapphire.

Hmm, they were one of the companies I thought that might be. Thanks.

XFX is the AMD EVGA... their service has the same premium level than EVGA on nVidia side has.

That's the reason the gpu are slightly more expensive here and there.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

I think you meant to say that XFX is the EVGA of AMD GPUs. I'm kinda siding with you there. There design also seems to be how EVGA would design AMD GPUs if they made them.

This is an example of what I'm talking about:

However, I'm not so keen on the red display connections and circle of red around the fans. I do realize that it is an AMD GPU but even NVIDIA cards don't have to have the manufactures signature green colour on them. It's unfortunate that Gigabyte AMD GPUs don't look that great otherwise I might have considered them because they have an all black coloured AMD GPUs, So I know it can be done. Still points to XFX for designing an aesthetically pleasing GPU.
