I need to upgrade my mid 2010 MBP, any ideas?

A new more expensive laptop needs in my eyes a GPU.

Now THAT is exactly what I'm looking for. Sucks that is is a little bit higher in price but I think I can work with it.

How long do you think this laptop would last me before I need to upgrade again and can it replace my desktop (check my sig)

some yoga 13 model, not sure which one as my gf has been using it for a while now because I got a laptop from work.

Well, the Dell XPS 15 has a SOLID build quality. I'm pretty sure that you will have enough time to save up some money and upgrade your desktop before the XPS 15 dies. Also, it's more powerful than your desktop, so the XPS 15 is definitely able to replace your desktop.
