  1. To see if it is 5000 ready will be quite hassle. Usually you dont see the mobo boxes (at least in NL) when shopping online. Also AMD should not expect any BFU to be able to flash BIOS. This is a bit annoying but I guess mobo with bios flashback it is...
  2. Hi, are there mobos, which will be drop in compatible with the new Ryzen 5000 CPUs or are all of them going to require a bios update? It's really hard to find any info on this...
  3. I was thinking the same but buying used doesnt help as much when you can write off the VAT if you buy it new. And with AMD we gotta get a gpu for it too and that's just a hassle
  4. Budget (including currency): EUR 500 but cheaper is better Country: Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Office work, PowerBI, programming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): parts that are not in the list are not needed. I am trying to put together as cheap as possible office pc. The PC will be used for office work, PowerBI (cpu intensive), R scripts, etc. It will be only accessed t
  5. okay so I got the g935. The sound is good but they are not comfortable at all...
  6. Best sounding compared to what? Last time I was using logitech headset, it sounded terrible but it's been years. Although if they do sound decent, ill be happy to get them
  7. Hello, I currently have Sennheiser HD 518 with modmic and I love it. The issue is that I keep getting tangled in the wires. Is there a wireless headset (preferably under 200), which is at least decent or does it all sound like trash?
  8. I really want low profile though. I actually find typing on the Apple's magic keyboard more comfortable than on mechanical keyboards because of the height. Otherwise the K63 looks really good That's a good idea, I'll look around. Thanks Somehow I don't trust Bluetooth keyboards for gaming
  9. Hello, I am looking for a new gaming keyboard and G915 ticks all the boxes, but the pricing is insane. Are there any alternatives? The keyboard should be: Low profile, mechanical, two wireless modes so I can switch between work laptop and my desktop, mac mode is a plus. G915 would really be perfect, especially when my mouse is G Pro Wireless, but the damn price....
  10. yes, I mean earbuds... edited the post the helmet doesn't block much noise so the noise isolation is quite important... apple airpods have none and I think it would rip my ear off when I try to take them off pixel buds and galaxy buds are options as well as many others so I am hoping someone has experience with them and how big they are... not everything would fit in a helmet
  11. Hi, I am looking to buy bluetooth earbuds that would fit under my motorcycle helmet so something not too bulky with a decent fit. Also they should have decent noise isolation... Any ideas? ?
  12. it could be many things... What games are you playing? You could have a CPU demanding game, which hits only few cores so your GPU doesnt get to go ham on it. Also might sound stupid but I gotta ask - did you turn vsync or whatever other fps limiters the games might have off?
  13. Thats probably because the unallocated space is not right next to the C volume. You can move it around and extend it but you will need some 3rd party software, like EaseUS Partition Master or whatever else you can find
  14. how is it less secure? The only issue is the closed eyes which does not bother me and Google promised to fix it in next coming months. Also, afaik most android phones can be unlocked by a photo of someone. I did consider the iris scanner but didn't hear good things about it unfortunately
  15. I would consider an iPhone if I would get a chance to try it for a week or so. I know it is not gonna work so well with other devices I have but I don't know how much extra pain it will be and I don't want to risk it. In the end, I think I will just go with Pixel 4 XL as it is the only Android phone right now which has a decent face unlock (and hopefully will get better). It just sucks that Google thinks they know better and use below average hardware, while the phone has also some pretty dope features... Thanks everyone for the help
