A month ago, my phone told me to update. Since then, I have been using Android 7.0 for a month or so, and I think it's possibly the worst OS of 2017. Frequent random internet disconnects, having 'no internet connection', complicated settings, retarded battery management, and much more. Can more people confirm this? I think the version that the s7 edge came with was the easiest to use that was simple. To be fair, there's that performance boost and you can adjust the screen quality, I would choose ease of use and no internet disconnects over android 7.0 every time. To the android users out there. What version of android was your favorite and what are your opinions for Android 7.0?

I have Android 7.0 on two devices. Aside from a weird display related glitch or something on one of them that I fixed, the OS runs fine for me.

So case of manufacturer releasing the OS too early before testing to make sure the model works. Or something.

Probably not. I have a legit s7 edge with software update. It might just be my country's internet.

I'm pretty sure not. It's a s7 edge and it's been working fine until the update.

I have two active personal devices: Nexus 5x (7.1.2) and Nividia Shield K1 (7.0). Both work fine. No problems with connectivity or battery on either. I would not want to go back to an older version on either.

Samsung may be the problem. My work phone is an S6 and I hate the way Samsung apps are pushed/integrated, although this phone is old enough to be on 6.0.1. Even when 6.x was current, Samsung were very slow in providing Android updates.

Yes, especially how they decided to go back to the old settings and hide all the shit so u have to click on every single tab to find something...

You have Samsung's Version of Android. They dont upgrade to every little version that comes out. Only Google branded devices get all the updates. One of the Advantages of buying a Pixel phone.

All unlocked mean is this. Either the boot loader is unlocked and you can flash what ever rom you want on it. Or its carrier unlocked and you can take it to about an carrier you want. Unlocked has nothing to do with where you get updates. If you own a Samsung device, then you have to rely on Samsung for updates.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
