Why G3258? Old dual-core. Most games these days run much better on a proper quad-core or even an i3..

idk

If you have a better idea for a good, cheap cpu, write it pls

A G4560, cheap 200 series motherboard and DDR4 would be good. The G4560 actually has hyperthreading like an i3, and so it'll perform better in games/programs that can use that.

Power supplies are universal. And no, you cannot use that CPUs as it's a mobile CPU, and most likely soldered to the motherboard in your laptop.

Nope... M stands for mobile, which means it's attached directly to the mobo, and it's not compatible.

PSU's are universal, only thing that really changes for each system is power requirements, but that depends on what's in your system.

Current System Specs:

CPU: Intel I5-7660K; CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212X; Thermal Paste: IC Diamond 7 Carat; Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon;

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8gb) DDR4 - 2400; SSD Storage: 1TB Samsung 850 EVO; Storage: 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm;

GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070 8gb G1 Gaming; Case: NZXT Phantom 530 Black; PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 650W 80+ Gold, OS: Windows 10 Home
